Current Camp Projects

We are always striving to provide innovative program and facility opportunities for both campers, camp staff and the rental groups that we serve.  The following projects form our Wish List of special projects that you can help us to complete, with a gift today.

Pool Complex Replacement:  Our next major capital campaign project is seeking to remove and replace the entire swimming pool and pool house, with all new shell, pumps, filters, bathrooms, showers, and septic.  The current pool was built in 1960, and was last renovated in 1984.  The current pool house is facing structural challenges, and the pool itself will require extensive repairs and upgrades to bring it up to the latest codes and regulations.  Estimated total project cost:  $1M.

Dining Room Tables:  Replacing the school cafeteria style tables with lightweight but sturdy plastic folding tables and chairs.  This would allow us greater flexibility for our camp program, as well as our rental groups in the Spring and Fall, and overall, give us more space in the dining hall.  Estimated total project cost:  $12,000

Basketball Court Improvements:  This project would allow us to resurface the basketball court, originally built in the 1970's, and add four new hoops as well.  Estimated total project cost:  $10,000

Barn Restoration:  The old barn at Camp was donated in 1998 when then-neighbor Dean DeAngelis passed away and left 84 acres of land and the barn, to camp.  The barn has been used as a storage space by the camp for many years, but is in dire need of restoration to truly best serve the Camp and all of it's various user groups.  Estimated total project cost:  TBD.
