Emma Moore is the Agricultural Awareness and Literacy Educator at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ontario County, where she has served for three years. In her role, she delivers Ag in the Classroom programming that connects students with local agriculture, fostering an understanding of food systems and farming in their community. As a certified Master Food Preserver, Emma also leads hands-on workshops on topics such as jam making and pressure canning.
Emma holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with a minor in Writing and Communications from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Growing up in a farming community, she developed a lifelong passion for sustainability, agriculture, and local food systems, interests that continue to guide her work today.
