The skills are: Encouragement, Can Do, Choices, Self-Control, and Respecting Feelings.

At the same time, teenage children of those parents, will meet in a separate location with a facilitator for small group instruction. They will learn about the same five (5) skills only the instructor will use methods tailored for the younger minds.  Both parents and teens will be able to practice their skills during the classes and reinforce the new techniques at home.

The Parenting Skills Workshop Series is designed specifically for parents with children up to age 12. The TEEN Workshop is for youths ages 13-older.  Childcare will be available for young children ages 6 months to age 12 years.

The workshops are held at: Jim Dooley Center for Early Learning in Geneva, NY 14456.

This program is FREE and offered to Ontario County parents.
