We love our farmers and they treat us all season with a cornucopia of fresh, delicious foods. People are rediscovering the pleasure of fresh, healthy food from local farms and a more meaningful connection with the land and the community. Buying directly from farmers is a way to enjoy this experience and Ontario County has many opportunities to do it.

Farmers' markets are a tradition as old as agriculture itself and Ontario County currently has five community-based farmers' markets. You can also buy directly from farmers throughout the county at farm stands, pick-your-own farms, wineries and nurseries.
