4-H Gardening & Horticulture

4-H members in Ontario County benefit greatly from working independently with their 4-H flower and vegetable gardens.  Through their projects they learn about seed and plant selection, requirement of raising their produce and the satisfaction of beautiful flowers and harvesting their food for their families.  Many youth also exhibit in these project areas at the Ontario County Fair.

The 4-H gardening projects are also supported by the Ontario County Master Gardeners who do many workshops for the 4-H members throughout the year.
