Tired of being a slave to your lawn and lawn service? Want something that stays green in July and August? Want to help the environment by supporting beneficial insects and pollinators? Or maybe you just want a restful green area in your yard.

Join Master Gardener Sandy Ebberts as she highlights grasses and sedges that could replace your lawn, making it an area that needs mowing only once a year… as well as some taller grasses which can create backdrops borders or a grassy meadow. An added benefit is many of these are native supporting the diversity of our environment.
