In this day and age most people are trying to eat healthy with emphasis on eating local fresh produce. What could be any more fresher or local than growing it yourself? Come learn how you can grow fresh, nutritious salad sprouts throughout the winter months.
With a few simple steps and without a lot of special equipment, you can grow all the salad sprouts you need. Join Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardener, Sandy Ebberts and start your own indoor salad garden to take home. Sandy will walk you through the steps of starting, growing, harvesting, and using your indoor salad sprouts. All supplies will be provided. A salad made with sprouts will be available to sample.
