If you want to start dahlias inside, April is the time to begin. Join Priscilla Kaufman for a presentation and hands-on demonstration of how to grow dahlias from potting them up to splitting and storing tubers for the winter. She will have dahlia tubers for sale after the workshop
Topics include the history of dahlias, obtaining tubers, potting up tubers inside, dahlia care through the season and splitting and storing tubers. Handouts will include a list of resources and recommended tools.
Priscilla is a Master Gardener and member of the Rochester Dahlia Society who loves to garden and is struggling with a serious dahlia addition.
