The time to prune fruit trees is late winter to early spring. Home fruit growers who are not sure how to properly prune, find this to be a daunting task. Proper pruning will lead to better yields and higher quality fruit. Take the guess work out of pruning. Join Russ Welser, Horticultural Educator with Cornell Cooperative Extension. This will be an on-site, in-person pruning demonstration. Russ will use his years of experience to take on an apple tree and will also discuss other tree fruits. Informational handouts will be provided.
This workshop will be limited to 25 participants. Pre-registration and payment required by March 23, 2023.
