Cornell Vegetable Program

The Cornell Vegetable Program is one of the premier regional agricultural Cornell Cooperative Extension programs in the state, serving a large multi-county region in Western New York.  The team's Vegetable Specialists work with Cornell faculty and extension educators statewide to address the issues that impact the industry and to provide programs and information to producers.  Growers and agri-business professionals must enroll in the Cornell Vegetable Program to benefit from educational offerings including a newsletter, direct mailings, and pest alerts. The Cornell Vegetable Program is supported, in part, by fourteen county Cornell Cooperative Extensions of Western New York including: Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Monroe, Niagara, Ontario, Orleans, Oswego, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne and Yates Counties. Finger Lakes Grape Program

The Finger Lakes Grape Program (FLGP) is a regional extension program of Cornell Cooperative Extension serving the grape and wine industry of the Finger Lakes. The FLGP provides unbiased, research-based information to the region's grape growers in areas including vineyard and pest management practices, new vineyard establishment, farm business management, marketing and business development and more as a means of supporting the industry's growth and long-term sustainability. Grape growers are invited to enroll in the Finger Lakes Grape Program so that they may receive important and timely information through a wide variety of means to help produce the best crop possible, as efficiently as possible. The Finger Lakes Grape Program is supported, in part, by six county Cornell Cooperative Extensions including: Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, and Yates Counties. NW New York Dairy, Livestock & Field Crops Team

The NWNY Dairy, Livestock & Field Crops Team is part of the Cornell College of Agriculture & Life Sciences' Pro-Dairy program outreach. Educational programs and individual assistance cover a wide area of best management practices and as well as dairy farm business. A bilingual dairy specialist provides producers with employee training and human resources facilitation in Spanish. Educational and support venues range from on individual farm management team meetings and troubleshooting to multi-day classroom and hands-on training and from ongoing farmer group discussion meetings to thematic day long symposia. The Northwest New York Dairy, Livestock and Field Crops Team is supported, in part, by county Cornell Cooperative Extensions including: Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Niagara, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Wayne, and Wyoming  counties.
