Ontario Agriculture Appreciation Banquet

With spring just around the corner, a diverse group of agriculture industry representatives will gather for this event in 2022 to recognize the vital importance of agriculture in Ontario County and to honor agriculture leaders.

There are a few changes this year due to the uncertainty of COVID at the time of the planning for the banquet. Arrival for the banquet will be between 6:30 pm and 7:00 pm. Dinner and program will begin at 7:00 pm. The dinner will be plated meal vs. buffet. Dessert will include pies from Cindy's Pies and Monica's Pies. 

Meal choices are Broiled White Fish with Garlic Aioli; Chicken Parmesan; and Vegetarian Lasagna. Each person must select their dinner choice on the registration flyer that is below. 

All registrations and payment must be received by MARCH 9, 2022. There will not be accommodations for walk-ins on March 18, 2022.

Awards for leadership, excellence, and innovation in agriculture will be presented at the banquet including the Rodney Lightfoote Agricultural Viability and Innovation Award for Ontario County, Jackie Kunes Outstanding Woman in Agriculture; Paul and Peg Zimmerman Outstanding Young Farmer; Jerome Family Scholarship and Farm Bureau Citizenship Scholarships. 

Cornell Cooperative Extension, Ontario County Farm Bureau, and Ontario County Agricultural Enhancement Board are sponsoring the Agriculture Appreciation Celebration.
