Farm to Cafeteria

Farms and food service cafeterias are working TOGETHER in Ontario County . .

Farm to Cafeteria has been helping farmers and institutional cafeterias work together to provide farm-fresh healthy choices for school students, patients and other consumers in and around Ontario County since 2007.

There are more than 10 Ontario County cafeterias and 6 farms participating in Farm to Cafeteria. If you are a producer or institution, and would like to be included in this partnership, please contact Deb Denome at Seeking Common Ground.

The Finger Lakes Farm to Cafeteria: Farm-to-Cafeteria program is a project of Seeking Common Ground in collaboration with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ontario County, Cornell's Farm-to-School program, Bloomfield Central School District, Happy Goat Farm and Rosecrest Farm. The program is funded in large part by a grant from USDA Northeast SARE (Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education).
